Little Master Hand, HK is an Art Tutoring Centre. Their service and brand have expanded and need enhancement in their online brand image and online website accessible to all smart devices including mobiles for consumer and client opportunities
This new service had excellent feedback with a 20% increase in new clients compared to the year before.
Goal
Before I started designing, I had multiple conversation with the CEO and management team to figure out what message the agency wanted to get across.
Here were the three keywords I focused on:
Professional and diverse
A design which demonstrates their professionalism towards providing a diverse range of services from Early childhood art to adult art education and academic studies
Clear Service with language diversity
They prided themselves to offering wide range of course for youth. The website should showcase their existing services and student past work
Fun
& Joyful
Their service provide positive and joyful experiences for youth and early education . Little Master Hand wanted this to be reflected on the website.
Technical constraints
I was also responsible for the build of this website using Wix and Figma. Mobile and tablet responsiveness is key to every web design. So I paid extra attention to ensure everything worked on smaller screens.
Logo design & Colour
The design concept is simple and clear with a pop of colors. We have chosen red, blue and yellow directly relate to client Logo. Changes are made to the CEO request for a change as they would like to increase target audience to an older age group. CEO did not want to change the logo appearance and the visuals of the logo, but want to enhance the professional and immaturity of the logo. Therefore, gradient is create to form a badge effect. The colour transforms to a darker tone to create a more sophisticated look.


The site of colour theme will also be aline with the logo colour. It can create a consistency between the website and physical store.

Closely working with the CEO and the marketing team, comparing to their old website and understand what section needed to improve and added.
First version:
The first version is created in 2019 matching with their old version where each services have detail description and leaflet. This first version big enhancement is homepage where information including their services, teachers profile and details of their programs are added with enhancement structurally and visually.
Second version:
Another enhancement is created 2021, with the increasing parents using their site. Adjustment was made to match with their needs including clear separation with age group through kindergarten, primary secondary and adults. They also see a increasing amount of parents searching for summer classes therefore it is also placed as one of the top hyperlinks


Wireframing
Closely working with the CEO and the marketing team, I have developed a wireframe before stepping into designing high-fidelity screens.

Prototype and delivery
The final design was done on Figma and built on Wix. I have kept the interface clean, using brand colours to highlight what's important and explaining what Little Master Hand does and what services they provide on first visit.
